How do they work?
We offer a wide variety of treatments based on the assessment of the injury. A registered physiotherapist will assess your injuries and provide you with an individual treatment plan tailored to your needs. Treatment will involve a combination of exercise, hands-on treatment and devices that can be used to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling.
How does it feel?
Therapy doesn't have to hurt to get better. We can help you feel better fast by reducing the pain, and getting to the cause of the injury. Many healthcare practitioners focus on treating just the symptoms. But the condition that is producing those symptoms may still be present. This only ensures that your pain will return. We focus on treating the cause of the pain and inflammation, AS WELL AS providing treatments to reduce pain and discomfort. By combining both, patients heal, feel better and STAY better.
What kind of results can be expected?
For most conditions, we expect results immediately. We don't mean you'll be healed immediately. But with a good assessment and treatment, relief can begin quicker than you think, often on the first treatment day.
Are there any side effects?
Most physiotherapy treatments have few side effects. Those that do, we will discuss with you and also give you good alternative options. Of course, some side effects you might want! Exercise can not only make you better, it can also help you burn calories and stay fit!
How long treatment takes?
Treatments are generally between 20 and 30 minutes of time withe a physiotherapist, assessments taking from 40-60 minutes. If you need modalities such as ultrasound or electrotherapies, these are usually done afterward, rather than during your individual time with the physiotherapist.
